What is JettyDek?

JettyDek is a Canadian distributor that provides a diverse array of solutions tailored to the boating industry. We carry 2 flooring options, the Stick it product and the Snap In product. JettyDek uses a proprietary aircraft-grade PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) ensuring a semi-permanent bond to any surface. We have the best PSA in the industry!

We offer a sample kit that is free of charge available on our website. All you have to pay is the shipping & handling. It includes our catalogue, 25 solid colours, 13 multicolours, 4 textures, and v-grip samples.

Is JettyDek stain resistant?

Our flooring can handle any mess. Proper and timely handling ensures that all types of stains, includes those from food, drinks, tanning oil, and dirt can easily be cleaned from the surface. Nevertheless, some substance, like fuel, bird droppings, rust, and mustard, red wine, can present issues if not addressed promptly. Timely attention to these spills will facilitate their easier removal.

How do I clean the flooring?

We advise using Simple Green, Fantastic, or Dawn Dish Soap and apply the cleaner by misting onto the surface, allowing it to soak 1-2 mins, and then gently brush with the grain using a medium bristle brush (for hard to clean stains a spot of acetone and water mixture can be used). Rince with warm water after cleaning. Avoid higher pressure water in close proximity, sharp objects such as knives or tools dragged across the surface. Avoid any acid-based cleaners. Care instructions are available here.

What maintenance is required for your flooring?

While our flooring is highly durable, performing regular maintenance will extend the lifespan of your floors. Shielding your floors from sunlight and keeping them clean and covered when not in sure will significantly contribute to their long-lasting durability.

What kind of warranty comes with JettyDek?

Our flooring is backed by a pro-rated 3-year warranty that covers any manufacturer defects at the time of purchase, including 3-year installation warranty when completed by one of our dealers.

How long will JettyDek last?

While JettyDek is engineered to endure the challenging marine conditions, responsible maintenance and proper storage play crucial roles. In standard scenarios, JettyDek offers a guaranteed life of three years. With proper boat care, it's entirely possible to extend this lifespan to 7+ years. Keeping your mats covered when you are not using them will extend their life considerably. You should treat them similarly to the way you treat your vinyl seats or other soft materials in your boat.

Do you have my boat on file?

Fill out our free consultation form and we will have a look through our digital inventory of 5000+ boats. If we do not have your vessel on file we will come out and scan your boat.

Can your marine flooring be installed on things other than Boats and PWC’s?

Yes, our flooring can used anywhere you need traction when wet or even if you need a custom accent piece. Or customers bring out the creativity into what they use it on. Examples of such are hot tub steps, pool decks, houseboat decks, nautical maps like Shuswap Lake, restored vehicles, UTV roof and doors, and much more.

How does your marine flooring compare to traditional carpet or other flooring options?

Using 100% closed cell foam construction ensures non-absorbency, preventing mildew and mold growth, a common issue found in tradition carpets. Carpets also tent to retain any stains and odors. Additionally, our flooring will stay cooler and dry quicker compared to traditional carpet.

Do you offer custom marine flooring designs?

Yes, we do! Send us your ideas and our designers will work with you to bring your ideas to life.

Can I DIY the flooring myself? Would you be able to supply the material and templates?

Absolutely. We will gladly provide you with a templating kit along with comprehensive instructions on how to template your vessel. Once you finish the templating process simply return the kit to us, and we will digitize and edit the data. Once the production is finished, we will send you your JettyDek kit. For further information, please feel free to inquire.

What flooring types do you offer?

We offer 2 options for decking installation: a permanent proprietary PSA which adheres to the deck and a snap mat product utilizing your existing snaps in your deck.

Does your flooring get hot?

Similar to other flooring products darker colours will naturally become warmer in the sun, however thanks to the closed-cell features of JettyDek, the heat is quickly dispersed.

What are the benefits of using your flooring?

Engineered to withstand the most challenging conditions, our flooring has superior durability. Its non-absorbent properties guarantee excellent grip whether wet or dry. It is shock-absorbent, UV resistant, sound deadening, water and stain resistant, non-skid and anti-fatigue for those long days on the water.

Is your flooring pet friendly?

Our flooring indeed keeps pets secure on deck. However, it is essential to note that it is made from foam materials. Consequently, excessive scratching or clawing with any sharp objects (your furry friends nails), may lead to tearing or ripping of the product. Despite this, the closed cell material of JettyDek ensures that it will still not absorb water if punctured. Please note that JettyDek does not cover damage of this nature.

How is JettyDek applied?

We have an easy 4 step process for the application of JettyDek. 1, remove the current decking (carpet, snap in or foam decking), 2, clean any mess from the deck like dirt, grime or glue, 3, prep the surface using solvents and ammonia-based liquid, 4, peel the paper backing and stick down following proper instructions.
